Grilled beef on a Hoba leaf with miso sauce (牛肉の朴葉味噌焼き)

This morning Kris and Ek Koon came to Mayumi's Kitchen. We had such a wonderful time together, cooking and talking a lot.

Today's theme was dishes that go well with sake (Japanese rice wine).  We made many dishes and Ek Koon's dashimaki tamago (Japanese-style rolled omelet) was so beautiful and tasty.  I was also impressed to know how well they were gettling along with each other as you can see from their smiling faces in the picture.💕
