VEGETARIAN SUSHI CLASS

DETAILS

In this hands-on cooking class, starting from the preparation of vinegared rice (sumeshi), you will learn how to make your own pressed sushi (oshi zushi) and other menus as listed below.

The class will take about 3.5 hours including shopping, cooking and tasting.

 

 

MENU

・絹ごし豆腐の冷奴 Silky tofu topped with relish

・胡麻和え Seasonal vegetable dressed with sesame sauce

・野菜を使った押し寿司 Pressed sushi with varieties of toppings

・澄まし汁 Clear soup

 

We will avoid using meat, fish, egg, milk, and honey. 

 

Japanese soup stock called "Dashi" will be made from Shiitake musuroom and kelp for vegetarians.  If you are a pescatorian, we will use dried bonito fish and kelp, which is more standard way to prepare Dashi.  If you are a pescatorian, please let us know in advance.
